MRHS Receives Performance Leadership Award for Quality

As part of the 2021 National Rural Health Day celebration Thursday, Madison Regional Health System announced that it has been recognized by The Chartis Center of Rural Health and the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health with a Performance Leadership Award in Quality.

Madison Regional Health System CEO Tammy Miller said that access to quality healthcare is vital in rural areas for the community’s overall health and quality of life. She said that one of the most significant impacts Madison Regional Health has on the community is offering early detection screenings and treatment of diseases.

The Performance Leadership Awards utilize the results of the Hospital Strength INDEX®, the industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural hospital performance.
