South Dakota One of the Most Mosquito Prone States

With summer upon us comes the return of the dreaded mosquito. A new study shows that South Dakota is the #3 most-mosquito prone state.  Emily Thornton explains how the study by Insurank.com.was done.

 

 

South Dakota ranked third behind Louisiana and Florida, two states often thought of as being mosquito-prone .  Thornton talks about the factors that pushed South Dakota toward the top.

 

 

She says one factor where South Dakota was high is controllable, and that is the number of West Nile Virus cases. Thornton says there are simple ways to do that.
