One more new positive COVID-19 case is being reported Lake County Monday.  Information from the state Department of Health shows Lake County with a total of 117 positive cases.  98 of those cases are recovered and there have been six deaths, putting the number of active cases in the county now at thirteen. 

Statewide, another 187 new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported Monday, putting the state’s overall total at just more than 13-thousand-500.  Of those cases, 2730 of them are active at this time and 76 people are hospitalized.  There has been a total of 167 virus-related deaths.  

Elsewhere in our area, Brookings County continues to see an increase in positive COVID-19 cases, with now 137 active cases there.  McCook County currently has fifteen active cases, Kingsbury County has six, and Moody County has five active cases at this time.  Miner County currently has one active COVID-19 case.
