Monday COVID-19 update: Four new positive cases in Lake County; 181 in state

Lake County is reporting an additional four new positive COVID-19 cases Monday. In information released by the State Department of Health Monday morning, Lake County reported 219 total positive COVID-19 cases, with 184 recovered and seven deaths. That puts the number of active cases in the county currently at 28.
Statewide, another 181 new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported Monday, bringing the state’s total to close to 24-thousand-600. There are 4274 active cases in the state Monday, and 241 people are hospitalized. The state reports no new COVID-19 deaths Monday.
In our area, Brookings County has 98 active cases, McCook County has 41, and Moody County has 31 active COVID-19 cases. Kingsbury County reports 17 active cases Monday, and Miner County has nine.
