Five more positive COVID-19 cases are being reported in Lake County Monday, along with two new recovered cases.  The state Health Department reports Lake County’s total number of positive COVID-19 cases at 352, with 251 of them recovered and eight total deaths.  There are currently 93 active COVID-19 cases in Lake County.  Sixteen Lake County residents have ever been hospitalized because of the virus. 

Statewide, an additional 538 new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported Monday.  The number of active cases in the state has increased to more than 11-thousand, and 377 people are currently hospitalized.  The state did not report any new COVID-19 deaths Monday.

Elsewhere in our area, active cases are at 75 for Moody County, 67 for McCook County, and 66 for Kingsbury County.  Miner County now has 63 active COVID-19 cases, and Brookings County has 386.
