Active COVID-19 cases increased statewide in information updated Monday by the state Department of Health. The state reported more than 150 new positive COVID-19 cases, and overall just less than 25-hundred active cases. No new virus-related deaths were reported Monday, and hospitalizations decreased to 88.
Lake County reported three new positive COVID-19 cases Monday, with five recovered cases. The county’s number of active cases was at 40.
Kingsbury County reported 63 active coronavirus cases, McCook County-25, Miner County had eight, and Moody County reported six active COVID-19 cases as of Monday.
Brookings County had 156 active cases.
