Monday COVID-19 update: 65 new positive cases statewide; no new cases in Lake County
The number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state increased by 65 Monday. The state Department of Health reports no new virus-related deaths, and the number of active cases stayed fairly steady at just more than 28-hundred statewide. The state reports 126 people currently hospitalized because of COVID-19.
Lake County did not report any new positive coronavirus cases Monday, but did have one recovered case. Active COVID-19 cases in Lake County are now at 47.
Miner County’s number of active cases increased Monday to 26 and Kingsbury County’s to 22. Moody County has 21 active COVID-19 cases, McCook County has seven, and Brookings County reports 135 active COVID-19 cases as of Monday. Â
