There’s a small change in COVID-19 numbers released Monday by the state Department of Health.  The state is reporting 30 new positive COVID-19 cases and no new deaths.  There are currently 1933 active COVID-19 cases in the state, and 91 people are hospitalized because of the virus. 

Lake County did not report any new positive COVID-19 cases, but did have one more recovered case.  This puts the county’s active cases now at 25.

The number of active cases in area counties did not fluctuate much Monday.  McCook and Miner counties each have ten active COVID-19 cases, Kingsbury County reports 18, and Moody County has 8 as of today.  Brookings County reports 72 active COVID-19 cases Monday.
