Man receives minor injuries in Lake County accident

One person received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon in eastern Lake County.  The Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an accident around 4:00 Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 34 and 463rd Avenue.  Sheriff Tim Walburg said a semi-truck and trailer driven by 45-year-old Darin Voelker of rural Colman was driving west on Highway 34 when his truck entered the north ditch and vaulted over the intersection of 463rd Avenue stopping in the west ditch of 463rd Avenue.  Voelker was transported to Madison Regional Health for minor injuries as a result of the accident. Damage to the semi-truck and trailer is estimated at ten-thousand dollars.
