Madison woman sentenced on felony drug charge

A Madison woman was sentenced this week on a felony drug charge.

41-year-old Theresa Fiedler had earlier pleaded guilty to a felony charge of Unauthorized Ingestion of a Controlled Drug or Substance from an incident in June of this year.

In Lake County Circuit Court, Circuit Judge Pat Pardy sentenced Fiedler to serve three years in the state penitentiary on the charge.  Judge Pardy suspended the penitentiary sentence on several conditions.  Some of the conditions include that Fiedler serve 45 days on House Arrest, and be on supervised probation for three years.  Fiedler also must pay restitution and costs totaling more than five-hundred dollars, and re-pay her court appointed attorney’s fees, among several other conditions of her suspended sentence.  Judge Pardy gave Fiedler credit for one day that she’s already served on the charge.
