Celebrating the work that goes on at Madison Regional Health System is the focus for this year’s Winter Gala Event coming up later this month.  The Gala is Friday, January 24th at the Dakota Prairie Playhouse in Madison. Madison Regional Health Foundation Director Beth Knuths said the theme for this year’s Gala is “Fulfilling the Vision”.

Knuths said the cause for the 2020 Winter Gala is “Enhancing OB Services at Madison Regional Health System”.  She said the funds raised through the fundraising event will be used to purchase the latest software upgrades and provide the latest technology and equipment that the OB doctors and nurses have identified.   Knuths said that once new families see the kind of care the hospital provides, they come back for their other health care needs.

This year’s Winter Gala is the Foundation’s 3rd annual fundraiser and the deadline for people to register for the event is on Wednesday, January 8th.  Tickets are 60-dollars each, or a table for eight can be reserved for five-hundred dollars. Tickets can be purchased either online or by calling the Foundation Office at 256-8817.  Knuths said on the 24th there will be a social starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Playhouse, followed by dinner at 7:00, and the program and auction starting at 8:00 p.m. She said the auction contains a number of different items, and raffle tickets for a 25-hundred dollar travel voucher that will be given away the night of the Gala are also available.

Knuths said the Gala is a good way for people to recognize the services that Madison Regional Health has to offer.

Again, the deadline to make reservations and purchase tickets for the January 24th Gala is next Wednesday, January 8th.  More information and a link to the Madison Regional Health Foundation’s Winter Gala website
