Madison Regional Health to hold COVID-19 vaccination clinic on April 9th

Madison Regional Health System is planning to hold a COVID-19 vaccination clinic next week.  The clinic is scheduled for Friday, April 9th at the Dakota Prairie Playhouse in Madison.  Madison Regional Health’s clinic will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on the 9th or until all the vaccine is gone.  The vaccine will be a single-dose regimen that will not require patients to return for another dose.

The state Department of Health announced that all individuals 16-years-old and older will be eligible to receive the vaccine starting Monday, April 5th.  At this time, Madison Regional Health only has vaccines approved for those 18-years of age and older.

No appointment is necessary for the clinic.  A COVID vaccine form that will need to be completed and brought to the clinic can be found on Madison Regional Health’s website.
