Madison Regional Health System CEO Teresa Mallett has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the 2025 “Critical Access Hospital Presidents and CEOs to Know.”

This annual list highlights leaders who are driving growth, strengthening partnerships, and improving the health and wellbeing of their communities.

According to Becker’s, the CEOs featured on this list are “innovative, strategic thinkers who continually reimagine how to elevate safety, quality, outcomes and service offerings, often while navigating recruitment and retention challenges.”

Mallet was named CEO of Madison Regional Health in January of 2025, after serving as CFO since 2012.

Beckers noted that Mallett led hospitalwide software implementations, served as financial project manager for the hospital replacement project, and supported the recruitment of new medical providers. She also helped guide the acquisition of several physician practices, expanding access and continuity of care for the community.
