Madison Regional Health Foundation taking applications for pharmacy scholarship

Madison area pharmacy students have a chance for a scholarship to help with their education.  The Madison Regional Health Foundation will award a one-thousand dollar scholarship for a pharmacy student from within a 30-mile radius of Madison.  It’s the Doris Garwood Pharmacy Scholarship and its open to students who have completed at least two years of college and who are currently enrolled in or accepted to a pharmacy program.

The scholarship was set up by Wendell Garwood to honor the memory of his wife, Doris, who passed away in 1988.  The scholarship has been awarded annually since 1989.

The scholarship deadline is May 31st.  More information and the scholarship application can be found on the Madison Regional Health Foundation’s website.
