Madison Regional Health Foundation participating in GivingTuesday campaign

The Madison Regional Health Foundation will participate in the GivingTuesday campaign, also known as South Dakota Day of Giving, and collect donations for the COVID-19 Response Fund for Madison Regional Health System on Tuesday, December 1st.  The Foundation set up the COVID-19 Response Fund in March to help the healthcare facility purchase personal protective equipment (or PPE) for staff as they prepared to respond to the Coronavirus.

Kathy Hansen, Madison Regional Health System’s Director of Quality, Safety, and Emergency Preparedness, said that donations to the Covid-19 Response Fund will help Madison Regional Health System buy the supplies they need to meet changing needs.

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good.  Over the past eight years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
