The Madison Public Library is re-opening its building to patrons next week.

Library Director Nancy Saabe told Madison City Commissioners during their meeting Monday that the library will not operate exactly as it had before the pandemic.

Saabe said that they will welcome library patrons, but ask that they not linger within the building for a long period of time.  She said that masks or face coverings will also be required of all those over the age of two.

Saabe said that the Children’s Librarian is also planning some activities outside, but pre-registration will be required in order to keep smaller groups.
