Madison Police looking for suspects in vehicle break-ins

The Madison Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in connection with a number of reported vehicle break-ins.  The unlawful vehicle entries occurred Sunday night in the southwest area of Madison.  Police report that six vehicles were entered, some with garage door openers, and the openers were then used to gain entry into the victims’ garages.  Power and hand tools are among some of the reported items missing.

The Dakota State University softball equipment shed located at Thue Field was also damaged.

Anyone with any information about these crimes is asked to please contact Lake County Dispatch at 256-7531 or Crimestoppers at 256-7634.
