Madison Man Receiving Quilt of Valor

Francis Bahr of Madison will be receiving a Quilt of Valor. 

Quilts of Valor are given out to either active duty and or veteran members of the armed forces that have been “Touched by War” and have seen the effects of war firsthand. 

The group that made this quilt is the Prairie Wind Quilters of Mitchell, One of a handful of quilting groups in the state.

The Quilt of Valor Ceremony for Francis Bahr of Madison will be on Sunday August 20th at 2:00 PM at the Madison VFW.
