Madison City voters elect two new city commissioners

The Madison City Commission will soon have two new commissioners.  In unofficial results from the Madison City election Tuesday, the top vote-getter was Adam Shaw with 703 votes, followed by Jerae Wire with 559 votes.  Incumbent commissioners Jeremiah Corbin and Kelly Johnson finished third and fourth in the election with 449 and 425 votes respectively.  Jenny Wolff had 343 votes in Tuesday’s election, and Patrick Mullen had 261.  Shaw and Wire will serve three-year terms on the commission.  Voter turnout for the Madison City election Tuesday was close to 30-percent.  Votes from the election will be canvassed by the Madison City Commission at its next meeting on Monday.
