Madison City election voter registration deadline is March 29th

Madison residents interested in voting in next month’s city commission election will need to be registered to vote by March 29th.  Madison City Finance Officer Sonya Wilt said Monday that people who need to register can get forms from either the City Finance Office or from the Lake County Auditor’s Office.  The city election is scheduled for April 13th.  There will be three people on the ballot for two city commission terms up for election this year.  Kelly Dybdahl, Jeremiah Corbin, and incumbent commissioner Robert Thill filed nominating petitions for the two, three-year terms.  Commissioner Mike Waldner, whose term expires this year, did not run for re-election.
