Madison City Commission Weekly Meeting

The Madison City Commission holds its regular weekly meeting later today. Commissioners are scheduled to meet with Lake Area Improvement Corporation Executive Director Eric Fosheim regarding a funding request for the Highway 34 turn lane.  The commission will also consider an extension agreement with the LAIC for a sales tax rebate, and also the project closeout report with the FAA for a city airport project.

Commissioners will adopt a couple of resolutions – one that will authorize the execution, terms, issuance, sale and payment of electric revenue refunding bonds, and one approving a plat for lots in the Cyber Estates Addition.  Also on the agenda for the commission today is the approval of the 2021 city employees’ salaries and wages, and the consideration of a financial assistance request from FEMA Hazard Mitigation grant program participants.

The Madison City Commission meets starting at 5:30 in the commission room in Madison City Hall and also through the use of Zoom.
