Madison City Commission on Monday

The Madison City Commissioners will hold a 2nd reading of an ordinance regarding fees for tapping water mains, as well as consider rescinding a related resolution, at their regular meeting tonight. 

Also on the commission’s agenda will be the ratification of a transfer from the Haskin Trust Library Donation, to the Madison Public Library Endowment Fund. The city is also set to approve a contract with Banner Associates for Strategic Communications services, and review the Sidewalk Improvement Project. 

Commissioners will also hold a public hearing on the transfer of a Retail Liquor License from Hot Shots Bar LLC, to Bar 605 LLC, and hold a discussion regarding the future closure NW 9th Street. 

These items and more make up the agenda for today’s meeting of the Madison City Commission.  The commission meets starting at 5:30 today in the commission room in Madison City Hall.
