Madison City Commission meets Tuesday

The Madison City Commission is holding its regular meeting Tuesday instead of it’s usual Monday meeting.  Commissioners are scheduled to discuss several different items related to the city’s Rural Development project, and will authorize the mayor to sign a legal services agreement with Meierhenry Sargent LLP.  The commission will also continue its discussion on the opening of the Madison Aquatic Center, and consider the appointment of Mark Ferber and Allyson Nagel to the city’s Park and Rec board.

Also on the agenda for the commission is a grant agreement with the FAA for the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, and to consider an amendment to the services agreement with Ultismart Corporation for meter data management.  Commissioners are also scheduled to nominate a delegate to the Lewis and Clark Regional Water System Board of Directors.

An executive session for the purpose of consulting with legal counsel or reviewing communications from legal counsel about proposed or pending litigation or contractual matters is scheduled for the end of Tuesday’s meeting.

The Madison City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 Tuesday in the commission room in Madison City Hall and also through the use of Zoom.
