Madison City Commission meets Monday

The Madison City Commission holds its regular weekly meeting today.  

On the agenda for commissioners is a public hearing on and approval of a temporary alcohol license application from the Knights of Columbus for the St. Thomas Gala.  Commissioners are also scheduled to authorize the mayor to sign a change order and certificate of substantial completion for Prunty Construction Company for a 2019 water main improvement project, and approve a proposal for land surveying services for Sayre Associates for a 2020 water main improvement project.  

Also on the agenda for the city commission is a proposal for professional services from Pro Engineering, Incorporated for renovation of the city’s water building, and also the approval of an increase in the cost of the proposal for design services for designArc Group for that same renovation project.  

Commissioners will also discuss the city’s 2020 sidewalk improvement project.

An executive session covering two different topic areas is scheduled for the end of today’s meeting.
