Madison City Commission meets Monday

The Madison City Commission has a number of items on its agenda for its regular meeting Monday.

Commissioners will receive updates on the Madison Aquatic Center and storm recovery, and approve a corrected agreement with Flock Services Group for the police department’s camera system.  

Some of the other items on the agenda for the Madison City Commission are resolutions for the issuance and sale of waste water and drinking water bonds, and also a resolution establishing waste water and water fees, rates and charges.  Commissioners will also discuss items regarding the creation of Tax Increment District Number Three, including a resolution, a project plan, and developer’s agreement.  The commission is also scheduled to discuss city hall and the police station, discuss a resolution for the special maintenance fee, and approve Community Center roof repairs.

Other items on the commission’s agenda include discussion on a request for qualifications for City Engineering services, and three sidewalk variance appeals.  The commission will also discuss advertising for bids for the city’s water main improvement project in the area of 9th Street and Union Avenue, and the awards of the Gen Plant RFP.

The Madison City Commission meeting starts Monday at 5:30 in the commission room in Madison City Hall.
