Madison City Commission meets Monday

The Madison City Commission is holding its regular weekly meeting later today.  On the agenda for commissioners is the acknowledgement of an application from the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Area Improvement Corporation for a temporary retail (on-off sale) malt beverage license application for Downtown in MadTown, and also the approval of a transfer of a retail (on-sale) liquor license for Stadium Sports Grill.

Commissioners are also scheduled to discuss the Madison Aquatic Center, update the city employees’ facemask policy, and also update of the city’s COVID-19 guidelines.  The commission will also authorize the mayor to sign the American Rescue Plan Library Grant application and the use of library reserve funds to cover the initial expenses.  

The Madison City Commission meets at 5:30 today in the commission room in Madison City Hall and also through the use of Zoom.
