Madison City Commission meeting Monday

The Madison City Commission is holding its regular meeting today (Monday).

Commissioners are scheduled to hold second reading of the city’s 2023 budget ordinance and an amended zoning ordinance.  The commission will also adopt a resolution approving the creation by Lake County of TIF District #6 within the City of Madison.  Also on the agenda are resolutions amending employee compensation for 2022 for the Library Department, and establishing employee compensation for 2023.  

The commission today will also receive an update on the city’s system improvement projects, and authorize the Mayor to sign a change order for Winter Contracting for the Northwest 9th Street reconstruction.
