Madison City Commission meeting Monday

The Madison City Commission is holding its regular weekly meeting Monday.

On the agenda for the commission Monday is the acknowledgement of an application for a temporary retail (on-off sale) malt beverage license for the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce for Bacon Bash on September 11th.  

Commissioners will also adopt a resolution setting the date for a public hearing on the assessment roll for the city’s 2020 sidewalk improvement project.  They will also adopt a resolution regarding tapping and meter charges, and discuss advertising for a Code Enforcement Officer.  The commission will also consider 2022 non-profit funding requests.  

The Madison City Commission meeting is at 5:30 Monday in the commission room in Madison City Hall.  The meeting is also available through the use of Zoom.

During time for public comment, you have two options to contribute:

  • Reach out to our office before 5:00pm Monday at 256-7500 option 3 to be added to the list to be called on during the meeting.
