Madison City Commission meeting Monday

The Madison City Commission holds its regular weekly meeting later Monday.  Commissioners will set the date of hearing on an ordinance regarding chickens, and will hold hearing and first reading of an ordinance regarding the city’s budget deadline.  The commission is also scheduled to discuss the purchase of a Cyber Estate lot from Nielsen Development for a future park, and discuss the Lake County 911 payment of expenses quarterly and transfer contingency funds.  Commissioners are also scheduled to adopt a grant policy.

The Madison City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 Monday in the commission room in Madison City Hall.  The meeting can also be accessed through Zoom.

During time for public comment, you have two options to contribute:

  • Reach out to our office before 5:00pm Monday at 256-7500 option 3 to be added to the list to be called on during the meeting.
