Madison City Commission meeting Monday

The Madison City Commission holds its regular meeting Monday.

On the agenda for commissioners Monday is a resolution for the city’s special maintenance fee, and an application for The Office Bar and Grill’s permit to occupy the city’s right-of-way for outdoor seating.  Commissioners will also discuss local government certification for the Domestic Violence Network’s Emergency Solutions Grants program, and the approval of a quote from HKS for Conservation Voltage Reduction upgrades.  The commission will also acknowledge the retail (on-sale) liquor license transfer application for Stadium Sports Grill and set the date of hearing on it.

Also Monday, the commission will recognize Medal of Honor Award recipient Ben Gant, and the Arbor Day proclamation for Madison’s Tree City USA 40-year award.

An executive session to discuss personnel is scheduled for the end of Monday’s meeting.

The Madison City Commission meets at 5:30 Monday in the commission room in Madison City Hall.  The meeting can also be accessed through the use of Zoom.
