Madison City Commission meeting Monday
The Madison City Commission holds its regular meeting Monday.
On the agenda for commissioners Monday is a resolution for the city’s special maintenance fee, and an application for The Office Bar and Grill’s permit to occupy the city’s right-of-way for outdoor seating. Commissioners will also discuss local government certification for the Domestic Violence Network’s Emergency Solutions Grants program, and the approval of a quote from HKS for Conservation Voltage Reduction upgrades. The commission will also acknowledge the retail (on-sale) liquor license transfer application for Stadium Sports Grill and set the date of hearing on it. Â
Also Monday, the commission will recognize Medal of Honor Award recipient Ben Gant, and the Arbor Day proclamation for Madison’s Tree City USA 40-year award.Â
An executive session to discuss personnel is scheduled for the end of Monday’s meeting.
The Madison City Commission meets at 5:30 Monday in the commission room in Madison City Hall. The meeting can also be accessed through the use of Zoom. Â
