The Madison City Commission will meet as a Board of Equalization before its regular meeting Monday.  As part of the Board of Equalization meeting, commissioners will consider one objection to real property assessment and review the city’s 2021 assessment roll.  

On the agenda for the commission’s regular meeting Monday is a hearing on and approval of the application for the transfer of the retail (on-sale) liquor license for Stadium Sports Grill.  Commissioners will also hold first reading of a couple of ordinance amendments.  The commission is scheduled Monday to adopt resolutions for bridge inspections, credit card processing fees, and for the preliminary plat for the West Center Addition.  Commissioners will also review and award the bid for the city’s sidewalk improvement project, and declare some miscellaneous electronics as surplus property and authorize the proper disposal.  

The Board of Equalization meeting begins Monday at 5:30 in the commission room in Madison City Hall, followed by the commission’s regular meeting.  The meeting will also be available through Zoom.
