Madison City Commission meeting Monday

The Madison City Commission holds its regular meeting Monday.

Commissioners are scheduled to hold a public hearing on and adopt resolutions on the assessment rolls for the 2019 sidewalk improvement and sidewalk repair improvement projects.  They will also approve second reading of the city’s 2021 budget ordinance, and discuss a long range planning and community needs survey.  

The commission will also discuss information from FEMA on a rock wall project from 2019 flood damage, and consider the final review and acceptance with KLJ and National Sealant & Concrete LLC for work at the Madison City Airport.  

Also on the commission’s agenda is the approval of a COVID-19 policy, as well as an update on COVID-19.

The Madison City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 Monday.  Commissioners will meet in the commission room and virtually using GoToMeeting.

During time for public comment, you have two options to contribute:

• Reach out to our office before 5:00pm Monday at 256-7500 option 3 to be added to the list to be called on during the meeting.
