Madison City Commission meeting Monday

The Madison City Commission will hold first reading of the city’s 2021 budget ordinance during its meeting Monday. Also during Monday’s meeting, commissioners will consider a resolution approving a plat for Cyber Estates Addition, and acknowledge an Irrevocable Standby letter of credit from Central Bank for Nielson Development LLC.

The commission is also slated to review and award the bid for padmount VFI switchgear, and review and award proposals for Advanced Metering Infrastructure. Commissioners will also declare some vented athletic lockers as surplus property and approve the sale of them to other government, and have an update on COVID-19.

An executive session for a couple of different areas is scheduled for the end of Monday’s commission meeting.

The Madison City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 Monday. Commissioners are meeting in the city commission room and virtually using the GoToMeeting application.
