Madison City Commission meeting Monday

Madison City Commissioners are holding their regular weekly meeting later today.  Commissioners will again meet virtually using the GoToMeeting application, which can be accessed online or by phone.  

On the agenda for commissioners is the acknowledgement of a pre-payment invoice for Wilson & Company for the city’s water main improvement project on Division Avenue.  

Commissioners will also discuss the use of the City Armory for the Primary and the combined City and School Board election scheduled for June 2nd.  They will also discuss Tyler Technologies GL Training/Go Live dates and UB Data Pull date changes due to COVID-19.

An executive session for personnel is scheduled for the end of today’s commission meeting.

From City of Madison:    For the meeting, we will be using GoToMeeting to help follow CDC guidelines. A few options on how to attend via GoToMeeting are below. During time for public comment, you have two options to contribute:

• Use the chat function within GoToMeeting; list your name and topic you wish to discuss – we will then call on you when we get to public comment time.
• Reach out to our office before 5:00pm Monday (4-13-20) at 256-7500 option 3 or email [email protected] to be added to the list to be called on during the meeting.

Normal public comment rules will be followed: no action can be taken and each person gets 3 minutes.
