The Madison City Commission is holding its regular weekly meeting later today. Commissioners will be meeting in the commission room and virtually for today’s meeting in order to follow CDC guidelines.
Commissioners will establish the 2020 election date of June 2nd for the Madison City election and invite the Madison Central School District to participate in the joint election on that date.
Also on the agenda today for commissioners is an application from Journey Construction for a permit to occupy the right-of-way in the west boulevard on North Washington Avenue between 8th and 9th Streets. Commissioners will also discuss a potential resolution requesting non-essential businesses to follow established CDC guidelines.
The Madison City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 today.
