The Madison City Commission is holding its regular meeting later today.  On the agenda for the commission is the acknowledgement of an application for a retail (on sale) liquor license transfer application for Stadium Sports Grill.  Commissioners will also set the bid date for the city’s Water System Improvement Project – Phase One-A, and also set the bid date for the construction of underground electric primary, secondary service and street light circuitry.  The commission today will also discuss a master license agreement for New Cingular Wireless PCS, doing business as AT&T Mobility Corporation, for wireless communications facilities. Also, an agreement with AE2S Nexus for Asset Conversion and Policy Assistance.  

Commissioners are also scheduled to review and award bids for the city’s water main improvement project on Division Avenue, and for padmount switchgear, transformers, cable and streetlight poles.  They will also discuss adopting a policy on cell phone payment and discuss public use of city facilities.  

City commissioners will meet as a Board of Equalization to consider objections to real property assessment on eight properties in the city and to review the city’s 2020 Assessment Roll.  This will take place at 5:30, with the regular meeting of the commission to immediately follow, all in the commission room in Madison City Hall.
