The Madison City Commission is moving up its regular meeting time for today’s meeting.  The commission will meet at noon today instead of its regular 5:30 meeting time.

On the agenda for the commission is an agreement addendum with the Teamsters Local Union for the 2019-2020 Employees Bargaining Unit.  The commission will also sign an agreement with Jencks Law, PC for legal services, and accept a revised preliminary engineering report from Banner Associates for the city’s water system improvement project.

Commissioners will also accept sponsorship of the hazard mitigation grant program, and review and award the bid for chemicals.  They are also slated to adopt a resolution to temporarily waive the building permit application fees related to flood damage, and a resolution to transfer funds for the 2019 September flood.

An executive session to discuss personnel is scheduled for the end of today’s meeting.

Again, the Madison City Commission meeting today is at 12:00 Noon in the commission room in Madison City Hall.
