Madison City Commission changes Monday meeting time and place

The Madison City Commission is holding its regular meeting on Monday, but at a different time and place.  The commission is planning to hold its meeting at the Madison Community Center, starting at 9:00 Monday morning.

The commission is planning a tour of the facility and a discussion of Community Center operations at the end of Monday morning’s meeting.

Other items on the agenda include the acknowledgement of alcohol licenses for El Pino LLC, doing business as El Vaquero in Madison.  The commission will also continue its discussion on the Madison Aquatic Center.

Other items include a grant agreement with the FAA for a municipal airport project, and two hazard mitigation proposals for bridges as a part of the FEMA Flood Disaster.  Commissioners will also authorize the mayor to sign applicant project reviews for water control facilities as a 2019 September flood applicant.

The Madison City Commission meeting on Monday again will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Madison Community Center, and will also be accessible through the use of Zoom.
