Madison City Commission

Many topics were discussed at the Madison City Commission meeting last night. One of the major topics of discussion was a plan to join a class action lawsuit that seeks additional funding to prepare for future water testing. City Administrator Jameson Berreth spoke more on the topic.
Commissioners also discussed the date for a public hearing for future sidewalk repairs, which will be on September 5th. They also discussed several electrical projects that went unbudgeted and ultimately approved the necessary action. Mayor Roy Lindsay also highlighted several openings for different boards across the City of Madison, including the airport, library, and park boards.Â
The next Madison City Commission meeting will be on Monday, August 23rd in the commission room in City Hall
