The Madison City Commission met Monday for their regularly scheduled meeting. Commissioners approved a statement of work with civic plus for the purchase of a new agenda management software which city administrator Jamison Berith spoke more on.

 

 

The City also discussed potential State Revolving Fund payments, and setting up a potential plan for certain payments. Before approval, Jameson Berith gave more details on the fund.

 

Other items discussed for public comment involved the new fishing pond near the city administrative building. Some clarifications were made stating that the fishing park will be a public park and how it will be treated as such with some discussion regarding boating and safety ordinance yet to come. The pond still has no confirmed finish date but the commission stated they would like to shoot for next year.
