Madison City Administration Building Groundbreaking Postponed

The City of Madison Ground Breaking Ceremony that was scheduled for today for the new City Administration Building has been postponed due to the weather. The Ceremony was scheduled for 3:00 pm at 503 S Highland Ave.

The building was bid for $10,199,000 from Journey Group and has an estimated completion date of May 16th, 2025.  

The new building is to be located near South Highland Avenue and Southwest 4th Street & will house the Police, Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, and Administrative departments, along with the Mayor’s Office and Commission room. We will let you know when a new time and date for the groundbreaking is determined.
