Madison Central Superintendent discusses school district’s closure plans
With the announcement by Governor Kristi Noem that schools in the state should remain closed through May 1st to help control the spread of the coronavirus, the Madison Central School District is busy putting together its plan for continuing students’ education. Â
Superintendent Joel Jorgenson said that the district will continue to develop plans to help deliver education to students going forward.
Jorgenson said it’s a challenge for families, students, parents, and staff right now, but he said the district administration and staff will continue to work on finding the best resources.
Jorgenson said that everyone will get through this challenging time by continuing to work together and supporting each other.
Jorgenson said that the district is also planning to continue to offer free sack lunches for students during this time, weekdays from 11:30 until 12:30. Â
The meals are free for students K-12 and all also all kids age 1 to 4.

- Public Library East side
- Dakota Land Federal Credit Union Parking Lot
