Madison Central School School Board Update

The Madison Central School School Board met last night and approved some personnel items. The Board accepted the resignation of Michelle Covrig as an elementary office professional. The Board also approved the hire of 4 summer custodians and one full time custodian. Cooper McDermott was hired to replace Nicole Frank as a SPED Paraprofessional and there was a contract change for the 2023-24 school year for Alec Bultje, as Strength and Conditioning coach was added to his duties.
Food Service rates were also discussed at last night’s meeting. Business Manager Mitchell Brooks told school board members that rates will stay the same as the 2022-23 school year. Brooks said that the cost of a student lunch will remain at $2.70 and breakfast will be $1.60, with second entrees costing one-dollar.
