Madison Central School District to offer free summer meals for children

The Madison Central School District will again be offering free meals for children this summer.  Business Manager Mitchell Brooks told Madison Central School Board members Monday that the district has been approved to continue serving free meals through September of this year.  Brooks said the summer program will be done similar to previous years, but the details of the program are still being worked out.  He said that more information will go out to families later this month or early May.

In other business during their regular meeting Monday, school board members approved several personnel items, including one new hire for the 2021-2022 school year – Shelby Meyer to serve as a Middle School Art teacher at a salary of 43-thousand dollars.
