Madison Central School District reports positive COVID-19 cases
The Madison Central School District reported a couple of more positive COVID-19 cases on Saturday.
Superintendent Joel Jorgenson said a student or staff member at Madison High School had tested positive for COVID-19. He said the district is working with the South Dakota Department of Health to determine if any students would be considered close contacts, and, if so, they will be contacted by phone and e-mail.
A positive COVID-19 case was also reported in a student or staff member at Madison Middle School. Jorgenson said there are no close contacts for the school district with the Middle School case.
