Madison Central School District makes plans for continued school closure
With the announcement that schools in the state will be closed an additional week, Madison Central School Superintendent Joel Jorgenson notified parents about plans for continuing students’ education. The district is planning to use online or other educational material packets for students starting next week. The district’s principals sent out information to families on what each of their schools will be doing for the students. Families with students in 5th through 8th grade today can check out Chromebooks for students to use as well.Â
With schools closed another week, the Madison Central School District will continue to offer free sack lunches for any child ages 1 through 12th grade from any school district. There are five different locations where the lunches are distributed each day from 11:30 until 12:45.Â
