Madison Central School Board Approves Waiver

During last night’s meeting, the Madison Central School Board approved an application for a Waiver from an Administrative Rule for Health to be taught in middle school for high school credit.

Principal Adam Shaw spoke on what this would mean for students.

Maridee Dossett will teach the class, who is already certified to teach health in the high school.

The school already has a similar rule in place for Algebra, along with waivers for Geometry.

Also keeping track of the weather related snow days, Madison Central School district has had five days of no school, three distance learning days, along with one staff in-service distance learning. There have also been ten late starts and early dismissals.
