The Madison Central School Board took action on some personnel items after meeting in executive session at the end of its regular meeting on Monday night.

After the board members’ first scheduled executive session, they voted to approve a one-year unpaid leave of absence for Kristin Morse for the 2021-2022 school year.  The approval is based upon a suitable replacement being hired by April 15th of this year and requirement that Morse inform the school district by February 1st of 2022 of her intent to return or not.

After the board members’ second executive session, they voted to offer a three-year contract to Business Manager Mitchell Brooks and also to Superintendent Joel Jorgenson, with salaries to be set at a later date.

Board members unanimously passed both of the motions. Â
