Madison Central School Board approves personnel action

The Madison Central School Board acted on some personnel items during its regular meeting on Monday.

The board approved a contract for the district’s Curriculum and Special Development Director.  Business Manager Mitchell Brooks said that Dianna Tyler will receive a six-percent increase in wages for her contract, which includes 42 days of service to the district each year.  He said her salary will be 19-thousand-190 dollars for the next school year.  Brooks said that Tyler plans all of the curriculum and staff development for the district.

Other personnel action taken by school board members included several resignations, including Jacob Schreck as a high school English teacher, Kimberly Seitz as a part-time Title Teacher, and Tracy Ferber as a Middle School Paraprofessional.  Other resignations approved by the board Monday included High School Special Education Paraprofessionals Tamatha Ausmus and Thomas Hill, and Margaret Scott as an elementary custodian.  All of the resignations are effective at the end of the school year.

The school board approved the hiring of two part-time grounds keepers – Eric Nordstrom and Richard Wolf, as well as two playground aides, also during Monday’s meeting.
