Madison Central School Board approves food service vendor contract

The Madison Central School Board approved a vendor contract for meal service for St. Thomas School in Madison during its meeting Monday.  Business Manager Mitchell Brooks said the contract is necessary because the school district is preparing its own meals in the 2020-2021 school year and will be the vendor for St. Thomas School.  Brooks told the board that the school district will prepare the meals at Madison High School and deliver meals to St. Thomas each school day.  He said the cost for St. Thomas will be $1.40 per meal, 45-cents for extra cartons of milk, and a five dollar per day delivery fee. Â
